Crawlspace Encapsulation

Step 1) is to remove any existing fiberglass from the ceiling and or damaged plastic on the floor.

Step 2) We bring a dehumidifer or cover the floor with our 10 mil dura skrim white reinforced poly. Then all the vents to stay open to dry the crawlspace out

Step 3) Spray foam the exterior walls into the rim joist to air seal and vapor seal the walls into the floor poly

Some Crawlspaces have a concrete floor with the vapor barrier under the concrete. In these cases we just spray foam the Exterior wall to complete the seal.

As a cost saving measure for some of our customers. You can save $500 by using the vapor barrier already in place and we can just do the spray foam part. We do not suggest this, however every dollar counts.
